WHO ARE WE?
Iceland Snowsports is an international snow sports school located on the Troll peninsula in the north of Iceland. We are group of highly qualified ski and snowboard instructors with years of experience. We operate all over Iceland but our main focus is on Troll peninsula. On the Troll Peninsula are 5 ski areas. We believe in personal service so this is why we provide private lessons and also lessons for groups that are no larger than six people. The lessons are for first timers to expert level.
We can meet you at the ski area close to where you stay. Let us know where you want us to come.
Whether it is the first time seeing snow or you are an experienced powder hunter, we are stoked to give you the best days in Iceland! With our significant experience in Iceland, we are more than happy to inform and help you with all your off snow activities as well.
Our services
Our lessons are designed to improve your skiing or snowboarding and cater to every level, from first timer to expert. To get the most out of your lesson, please make sure the skill level is similar within the group. If this is not the case we recommend to book a separate instructor.

(Lessons per instructor)
Two hours lessons:
- 1 person 16.800 ISK
- 2 to 3 persons 12.800 ISK per person
- 4 to 6 persons 11.600 ISK per person
(maximum of 4 persons in snowboard lessons)
Full day lessons:
- Full day (6 hours) 65.000 ISK per instructor
If you come with a group with mixed abilities, mixed ages, you are more than welcome to share the full day product and split it up in multiple lessons through the day. We strongly recommend at least 2 hours on snow. This gives you time to learn new skills and lock them in before the end of the lesson. Children under the age of 5 are an exception, here we recommend a one on one lesson for 1 hour.
